1. Lifestance Wax Warmer Hair Removal Kit – Editor’s Choice
Suitable For Both Men and Women
This waxing kit is also suitable for both men and women. It can be used for the entire body including bikini area, back, arms, legs, facial, and Brazilian waxing. Although this product also uses different flavors like the other kit on our list, it’s different in a few ways. It’s made from 100% copper which means that it’s long-lasting.
Adjustable Heat Settings
It also heats up fast due to its adjustable heat settings. The machine uses three different flavors which are chamomile, lavender, and black. The wax warmer is 500ml, and it comes with a large size wooden spatula. If you want a waxing kit with less painful experience, then this one might be one for you.
Dries Up Quickly
This waxing kit is living to its promise by providing a fast wax meltdown. However, the problem is that the wax quickly dries up. This gives it the challenge to apply it to your body effectively.
If you want a machine that works fast to save you time, then this should be one of your dreams. It has a heating coil to melt the hard wax. In fact, you will just need 10 minutes to have a complete wax meltdown. It uses four different wax beans which are rose, chamomile, lavender and honey. It’s suitable for removing hair from almost all the body parts.
Smart & Safe
You can keep it simple by using this waxing kit as it is convenient to use. It automatically turns off when the temperature is high and switches on when it cools down. You can take any wax of your choice and choose the meltdown temperature. It’s easy to operate, and most people love it because you just need a wax heater pot and a spatula to apply the wax on your body.
3. Waxing Kit, Easkep Wax Warmer Hair Removal – Budget Buy
User Friendly For First Time User
For the first-time user, waxing at home is no easy feat. This is the reason you will need this device which is user-friendly and suitable for both men and women. It’s designed to painlessly remove hair from the legs, face, arms, and armpits. You can heat the wax in the pot for only 10 minutes and apply it by using a wooden device.
Auto Shut Off Safety Option
This machine is one of the best partly due to its easy to set up. It features an auto shut off safety option which automatically shuts off when the temperature is too high. You don’t have to switch it on again as it will start heating on its own when the temperature cools down. It uses most types of wax such as hard wax, soft wax, wax pellet, and sugar wax. It is ideal for removing most hair in one pass.
The downside part of this product is that it’s difficult to get the right thickness to spread the wax. There is a learning curve with this wax kit, but once you get it right, it is easier to use.
There is no doubt that all these three waxing kits are the best in the market. However, this review has to come up with a winner despite a thin line separating these products. Lifestance Wax Warmer Hair Removal Kit tops our list. This product is made from copper, the beads heat up faster and are easier to use when compared to the other waxing kits on this list.
The Rapid Melt Hair Removal Electric Hot Wax Warmer had to settle for the second slot. This is another great waxing kit which is easy to use and melts the hard wax fast. Mascheri Rapid Melt Hair Removal Waxing Kit is also good despite taking the last slot on this list. There is a learning curve to this product, and we later identified the instructions on how to use it.

Brazilian Wax vs Bikini Wax
It seems that women (and some men) will do almost anything to achieve silky smooth skin that is hair-free. We pluck, shave, wax and tweeze any hair that is out of place. The problem comes in when we are trying to de-fuzz our bikini area. You have to be a contortionist armed with a razor blade!
But there are razor-free ways of staying smooth, namely a Brazilian wax and bikini waxing.
So, what’s the difference between the two?
With a Brazilian wax, the cosmetician removes all hair from the entire genital region. Bikini waxing, however, only removes hair that is visible around the bikini area.
Bikini Wax Tips
Although bikini hair removal isn’t for the faint-hearted, you’ll soon get used to it, and the results will be worth it.
- Realize that the entire lower half of your body will be exposed to your waxer, who will get extremely up-close and personal. The thing is, she’s probably seen hundreds of half-naked people in her career. In other words, she’s seen it all before, and there’s no need to be embarrassed.
- Yes, it will hurt. But it’s not that bad, and you will get used to it. The first time you have your bikini area waxed is probably the worst. Subsequent waxings get less painful, and as the process is so quick, you’ll forget about that little bit of pain quickly.
- You won’t look silky smooth and gorgeous afterward. You’ll look a bit like a plucked turkey, with red, irritated skin. Wear loose clothes and avoid friction for the rest of the day. You should be bikini-ready the next morning.
What Prep Should You Do Before Getting A Wax?
1. Trim Your Hair To About ¼ Inch Long
If you don’t know how long to cut your hairs, inform your waxer beforehand that she will need to trim them. Make sure you schedule a wax at least four days before or after your period. Within a few days of your period, your skin is far more sensitive.
2. No Alcohol
Don’t think that a couple of glasses of wine beforehand will ease the pain. The opposite true as alcohol tightens the pores, making waxing more painful. Instead, if use an over-the-counter pain reliever, take it before you have your wax.
3. Use Hydrocortisone Cream After
Also, call your waxer and ask her for a recommendation on what hydrocortisone cream you can use afterward. These creams are quick to reduce redness, and calm itchiness and inflammation. Don’t shave between waxings. This will reverse the effects of waxing, including hair removal at the root and smooth skin.
How Much Will A Bikini Wax Hurt?
Some vendors out there make grand promises about ‘painless’ treatments and ‘no pain’ waxing. But they’re not being honest.
The fact is that ripping your hair out at the roots is going to hurt.
It can also be a bit embarrassing to be lying with your entire lower half exposed to someone you’ve never met before.
But It’s Not That Bad!
It’s not as though it’s going to make you sob or unable to walk. If you’ve had your ears pierced or had a tattoo, this should be easy. And if you’ve given birth, it’s a doddle. The main thing is that it’s really quick.
How Often Should You Get A Wax?
Don’t leave it too long between waxing appointments. Experts agree that regular waxing is essential, providing the best results. If you have a wax every four weeks, your skin will be less sensitive. Four weeks should also be long enough for the hair to grow to about ¼ inch long.
Over time and with regular waxing, the hair follicles will slowly lose their grip on the hairs. That means that the hairs will come out more easily, and the process will be less painful. Another good reason for frequent waxing is that hair growth might slow down over time.
What To Avoid When Getting A Bikini Wax?
- Avoid shaving beforehand. When you get a bikini wax, the aesthetician will spread liquid wax onto the area you want to be hair-free. The wax needs something to grip onto. If you shave the area beforehand, waxing won’t work. Ideally, the hairs to be removed should be trimmed to an approximately ¼ inch in length.
- Avoid the sun. Stay away from direct sunlight for two days after a wax, or until the redness has died down. Because waxing exfoliates your skin, it removes a layer of skin cells that would help protect you from the sun.
- Avoid tight clothing. When you’ve had a wax, avoid wearing skintight clothing so that your skin can breathe. Tight clothing increases the likelihood of painful ingrown hairs. Stick to lose clothes until the irritation has passed.
- Don’t soak or steam. After you’ve had a wax, taking a shower is fine, but bathing, swimming or steam baths are to be avoided for at least two days. When the hairs are removed, they leave an empty hair follicle into which bacteria or chlorine can easily enter, causing further irritation.
How Long Do The Results Last?
The rate at which people’s hair grows differ, so different people will have different results. However, after your first waxing, the results should last from three to six weeks, depending on your hair regrowth rate. There is usually little regrowth in the first and second week after you’ve had a wax.
But in the third and fourth week, there will be a noticeable increase in hair growth. Because heat stimulates the growth of hair, you will need to wax more frequently during summer. If you wax regularly, re-growth will be slower, and the hair will be sparser.
Tips For Making Waxing Less Painful
As mentioned, waxing is not painless. But there are a few things you can do to reduce the pain.
For example, depending on the type of painkiller you usually use, take a dose about half an hour before your waxing. This will help to keep the pain down.
Ask your waxer for her recommendations for numbing cream, or perhaps she will apply one before doing your wax.
Also, ask your esthetician if she supplies a cold compress or a soothing toner such as rose water. Both will cut down on post-waxing pain. Avoid using products that contain alcohol or fragrance in the area after waxing.
